Thorough Medical Examination: I will conduct a detailed medical case history to understand the underlying factors contributing to hair and scalp issues.
Advanced Diagnostic Tools: Using state-of-the-art digital trichoscopy, I will examine the hair and scalp, capturing clinical photographs for accurate monitoring and assessment.
Professional Diagnosis and Prognosis: I will discuss your child’s diagnosis and prognosis, providing insights into the condition and potential treatment options.
Personalised Treatment Plan: Based on the diagnosis, I will develop a customised treatment plan, including at-home care recommendations and possible medical interventions and/or drug prescriptions.
Cosmetic Care and Styling Advice: I will advice on cosmetic hair care and styling, ensuring optimal scalp health and hair regrowth.
Follow-Up Care: After the consultation, I will provide comprehensive follow-up notes and schedule a follow-up consultation if necessary.
Preparing for the Trichology Consultation:
To make the most of your child’s consultation, please follow these preparation tips:
- Wash your child’s hair 24 to 48 hours before the appointment.
- Avoid dyeing your child’s hair at least a week before the consultation.
- Remove any hair extensions prior to the appointment.
- Refrain from using styling products or camouflage treatments on your child’s hair and scalp.
- Bring copies of any relevant blood tests from the past six months, along with details of medications and hair care products used regularly.
None of these items are mandatory, but they help me assessing your hair and scalp.
Follow Up Consultation – £70 (30min)
Scheduled for 3-6 months after the initial consultation or commencement of treatment, my follow-up consultation if needed aims to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Here’s what to expect:
Progress Monitoring: We take photos to track progress and review the treatment plan’s effectiveness.
Treatment Adjustment: Based on the evaluation, we adjust the treatment plan to optimize results.
